The American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) is a prestigious, national organization established for working women and women business owners. The Birmingham Charter Chapter of ABWA is one of the many ABWA Chapters and networks in Alabama. It is a community where women can be part of a national organization with a local connection, come together to gain career development and pursue business opportunities while being influenced and mentored by like-minded women who really care.

ABWA has long been accepted as one of the leading business women’s organizations in the United States and its far-reaching influence has touched the lives and careers of so many. It’s incredible to realize that it all began more than 60 years ago, when the term businesswoman was an oddity and an association dedicated to advancing women’s careers was simply unheard of, look how far we have come.
